Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong Airport, which has been suspended since May 8, 2006 for renovation and expansion, was reopened to flights on 28 June, 2006. After over one-month's reconstruction, the airport takes a new look and everything is in normal now. There are six flights from Chengdu-Jiuzhaigou daily since 28, June, 2006. Flight services between the airport and Xian and Chongqing will return to normal days later on July 3, 2006.
