Star-rate plates have been removed from 26 hotels including 9 three-star hotels, 15 two-star hotels and two one-star hotels under the star-hotel reevaluation campaign launched recently in Beijing. The main reason of the degrading is that their environment and sanitation, quality of service failed to reach the standard.. In addition, oral warning was issued to another 11 hotels whose internal management and services are not satisfactory. Meanwhile, the Beijing Tourism Bureau also circulates a notice of criticism to other 7 hotels whose internal management, quality of service and sanitation can not meet the satisfactory standard.
Some of the downgraded Hotels:
3 star: Huabei Hotel, Longtan Hotel, Gongti Hotel, Cuimingzhuang Hotel.
2 star: Xinxin Hotel, Temple of Heaven Haoyuan Hotel, Longshan Hotel, Guanghua Hotel.
1 star: Phoenix Villa Hotel(Fenghuang Shanzhuang Hotel)
Hotels be warned:
3 star: Beijing Floral Palace Hot spring Hotel, Zhongyu Century Grand Hotel, Golden Harbor Hotel, Hubei Hotel, Haite Hotel, Beiyuan Hotel.
Hotels be criticized( all 3 star):
Jianguomen Fenyuan Hotel, Ningyang Hotel, Zijin Wanshougong Hotel, Yuedu Hotel, Hongliyuan Hotel, Zhangqiu Hotel, Laodongdasha Hotel
